About Me

Hello and welcome! I am a Graphic Designer located in Nebraska with a passion for concepts. I thrive from organization and get most excited for projects that have clear objectives and purpose. I have been working as a designer since 2014 and I have my bachelors degree in Visual Communication Design from Virginia Tech.

When I am not designing, I love taking long bike rides and hikes, watching the latest Pixar movies, and eating chocolate.

​​​​​​​My Qualifications:
I have six years of experience in my design career and have my Visual Communication Design (Graphic Design) degree from Virginia Tech. I have worked at printing presses and I am familiar with setting up files correctly for print and have experience designing everything from nametags to magazines. I have also worked as a web designer, coding websites using HTML and CSS as well as CMS platforms such as Wordpress and Drupal. I have experience coding and designing HTML emails and testing them in Talisma to provide a consistent experience across platforms.

I value collaboration, teamwork, and consistency and lead a campus initiative to bring unity in the design across campus. I lead workshops to train other designers and my goal as the Senior Designer is to lead my employees well towards being a strong team.

My Experience:
I currently work for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Admissions Marketing team as the Senior Design Specialist. 

I also have clients across the country such as MetalQuest, Facebook IQ, Suiteness, Okta, Crossroads Coaching, Summit Ministries, First Street Bible Church, Oak View National Bank, and Raydian Properties.
